STORY:

A gay Saudi prince beat and strangled his male servant to death in a frenzied sexual assault at their luxury London hotel suite, a British court heard on Tuesday.

Saud Bin Abdulaziz Bin Nasir al Saud, 34, who is a grandson of Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah, killed Bandar Abdullah Abdulaziz on February 15 after abusing him for weeks, the court heard.

The 32-year-old victim was found with severe injuries including bite marks on his cheeks in a bloodstained bed in the suite at the Landmark Hotel, which he was sharing with the prince, prosecutors said.

Prosecutor Jonathan Laidlaw told the jury at the Old Bailey in London, England's Central Criminal Court, that Saud had admitted the lesser charge of manslaughter but denied murder and a separate count of grievous bodily harm.

Laidlaw said the two men had been staying together at the hotel for nearly a month as part of an "extended holiday'' that had also taken them to Italy, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Morocco.

Saud had claimed the pair were friends and that he was heterosexual, but the court heard the prince had ordered gay escorts in London and had frequently looked at websites for gay massage parlours and escort agencies.

"The defendant's concealing of the sexual aspect to his abuse of the victim was for altogether more sinister reasons and it tends to suggest that there was a sexual element to the circumstances of the killing,'' said Laidlaw.

Bloodstains found on the pillow and the room were "consistent with the victim having been the subject of a series of separate assaults before he was killed", he added.

Saud told police they drank at the hotel bar until the early hours of the morning on February 15 before returning to the room and that when he woke in the afternoon he could not rouse the victim, the court heard.

The prince was "shocked and upset'' and had tried to clean up some of the blood and wash some of Abdulaziz's bloodstained clothing when hotel staff and a Saudi embassy staffer came to the room, Laidlaw said.

A post-mortem found that Abdulaziz had suffered heavy blows to the head, injuries to the brain and ears and severe neck injuries which were "consistent with an episode of manual compression''.

There were also bite marks on the cheeks which had "an obvious sexual connotation", Laidlaw said. The injuries showed the "ferocity of the attack to which he had been subjected,'' he added.

The prince had attacked his servant on several previous occasions, including one that was caught on security camera footage in the hotel's lift in January, he said.

The jury was shown the footage in which Abdulaziz was seen cowering as Saud rained blows on his head.

The prince appeared in the dock with a shaven head and listening through an interpreter. His father is a nephew of King Abdullah and his mother is one of the king's daughters.

This is shocking to read. I would never expect a Gay Saudi Prince doing this. Let alone him being Gay, Most likely a Muslim and living is Saudi Arabia. Muslims everywhere will try to kill him!

I feel the same way that a Prince would act like that at this time of age but that being gay part, not shocking. Even tho he is a muslim. Many other muslims from Yemen, Afgan,etc have told me and showed me that people in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait are mostly gay nowadays. Go figures tho, Once the West enters, Things arent the same no more.

I'm trying to find a video I saw a year or two ago of a Saudi Prince beating what I think was a store owner, at night, in the desert, with the help of a few heavily armed bodyguards and/or soldiers.

As I think it may be the same Prince as your article lists, I will continue to look for it, if it's still available online.

Rich peoples thinks they are above the law ... what above common sense
even a prisonner should not have misstreatments .. its SADIC and EVIL abusing anyone .. period

So, if he is found guilty, what will he face as a punishment?
We have a saudi already trying to stay here for fear of being killed if he goes home because he's gay........will the Prince face the same punishment?

Being gay isn't a bad thing you know and someone should not be punished because they're behaviour is different or unnatural in your eyes. Anyway, it's the bisexuals (like me) that you gotta watch out for. We're the real danger to the morals of society because we show people that they can have it all!

Looks like the Saudi prince was enjoying the full sexual dominance over his male servant.

When man and man fight they do not leave bite marks on the cheeks. Unless, of course, they're sissy (like girls fighting) or sexually attracted together.

This is a plausible evidence of emotional attachment between the Saudi prince and male servant.

I got a feeling that something went wrong between the two. Either one had exposed his promiscuity toward another man. They quarreled. Saudi prince took full sexual advantage and killed him.

There is no excuse whatsoever. Saudi prince should stand on trial and sentence to death for murder.

So someones worried about my last staement about most muslim men commiting homosexual acts, but Its true. I spent a couple years in Iraq, And muslim men there only see woman as a reproductive tool. It is normal for them to embrace men sexualy or even there donkey. In no way am I being abrasive towards anothers religion, it is just exactly what I observed while in Iraq. Dont get offended for exposing the truth whoever you are. Maybe I could have worded it differently, but it is the truth.
