I need help with the new protocols. Formerly, when I wanted to include a snippet from a news source I enclosed it with "news" in brackets at the
beginning and at the end a slash and then "news" in brackets again. when I wanted to quote an external source I used an "ex" in brackets and then /ex
in brackets at the end.
Now when I use these formats I think the results look strange and not sufficiently separated from my own text. For example, the words "snippet from
news source" are in black on a black background, which makes them practically unreadable.
I now notice citations from other websites or other external sources separated out and indicated by a green ribbon on the left.
Where do I find how to do these things?
