Talks of climate change committee must be secret because of economic sensitivity: PM

THE deliberations of a multi-party climate change committee will be kept secret until an agreement is reached because they are economically sensitive.

The secrecy provision was in the terms of reference revealed today as the Prime Minister announced the membership of the committee, which will explore options for the introduction of a price on carbon.

Ms Gillard said all options were on the table as the committee moved towards “community consensus, on putting a price on carbon and looking at options for putting a price on carbon”.

This is the same Julia Gillard that stated "no carbon tax till atleast 2012"...

And now she can just blame the Greens..Convienient...
