Israel 'not planning new settlement freeze'

rawstory.com

Israel on Friday reiterated its refusal to extend curbs on settlement building which expire this month, despite US pressure and Palestinian threats to walk out of peace talks.

"The prime minister has not changed his position on this issue, there is no question of extending the moratorium," a senior government official told AFP, asking not to be named.

The 10-month measure to curb construction of settler homes in the Israeli-occupied West Bank concludes at the end of this month.

Of course not. If Israel would stop illegal settlements, peace could be achieved (so long that Israel holds up it side of the bargain, of course) and as most of us know (whether we are in denial or not), Israel doesn't want peace. It doesn't benefit Israel or the Zionists one bit to have peace, as the Palestinians are the only ones suffering due to this conflict, relatively speaking.

Israel is going to do whatever it can to stop any kind of peace agreement because it is much easier to stop the peace process, than to break it outright. You see, Israel needs this conflict to continue on, that way they can continue their campaign of genocide with an easy excuse to spin through the media.

Of course, Israel can easily blame the Palestinians for the break down of the peace talks, and their Zionist controlled MSM will of course follow along. This is so sad that it is angering and to think that all of this done in not only the name of Americans, but also with our tax-dollars and weapons.

I'm so embarrassed for my fellow citizens, who can't for the life of them see the obvious that is staring us all in the face and tapping our pockets to do it. Are we really that ignorant?

Israel 'not planning new settlement freeze'

=============================

An action as provocative as any wayward rocket .

======================================

Netanyahu`s Coalition Government are incapable or just plain unwilling, to make the necessary concessions .
And on the `other` side of the illegal wall ,Fatah are in no position to make concessions ..... particularly with Hamas snipping at them.

Hamas need to be involved in the solution too , whether you love them /loath them or are just indifferent to them ......... they must be involved for there to be any lasting solution.

===================================================

Imho, these are not the people to bring peace to the region , not in their current incarnation any-ways.

You are right, though sadly any break-down of peace talks or peace itself, will as usual, be blamed on the Palestinians, the only side of the conflict that truley suffers from it. Unlike Israel, the Palestinians don't influence the media, nor the world's super-power. Israel and the Zionists both count on the ignorance, "dumbing-down" and labor of the American public to continue their genocidal land-grab. Unfortunately, most Americans will go completely unaware that Israel is doing anything to anger the Palestinians and instead, they continue to believe that the Palestinians simply hate the Jews for being... well, Jewish.

Ignorance is so aggrivating, especially when that ignorance is causing all of us to take part in this genocide. I'm not a religious person, but I hope every American and Israeli has to stand before god and answer to what they allowed to happen. Just as ignorance is no excuse of the law, it is also no excuse to disregard common sense and it all of our responsibility to know what our resources are being used for.

Dont be like that, the world also have their own ignorance on lots of wrong things happening worldwide. The Palestine have nothing to give to the world or America thus the ignorance. Entire world have the shame.

As a country with wide coverage, capability and "better human right", American government should change the bias or be viewed as "another unwanted bully".
Palestine things been going on before I was born goes unsolved, yet Iraq, an ally later change sides and get rehashed, this alone show American government true intention - conquest of strategic area.

Instead of becoming peacemaker - conquest of strategic area become main agenda.
Now that is something to shame about and this time, NO, the world have no part in this.
