Discovery Gunman James Lee's Sordid Past as a Human Smuggler

James Lee, the bomb-laden gunman who was killed by police in the lobby of the Discovery Channel, was once convicted and imprisoned for smuggling illegal immigrants into the country from Mexico.

The revelation that Lee had once smuggled illegals contrasts sharply with a hate-filled manifesto he left behind in which he describes illegal immigrants as "disgusting filth" and their children as "anchor baby filth."

It appears as if they are trying to demonize conservatives who are against illegal immigration by associating Lee with the "secure borders" movement. Apparently, not only is this untrue, but Lee himself could have helped many illegals enter the country. So, which is it? Is he a terrorist motivated by his anti-American fervor for secure borders and sovereignty, or not?

It looks like they didn't anticipate this little tid-bit of information when they were deciding which political movement to target, after killing the man. Sadly, the MSM wouldn't even think of connecting these dots and neither will most Americans.

Of course, his opinions could have changed but it's a little far-fetched to believe that he would go from one extreme to the other, in such a short period of time. That coupled with the pretty sound theory that TPTB often use incidents like this to demonize their rivals and opposition, I would have to say that I smell a fish.
