OLD news, already discussed dozens of times.

At the time, the UK military thought what they were spraying, as part of their biological warfare dispersion tests was safe. Tests were intended to PROTECT the population in the event of a biological weapon attack from the USSR. The material they used was selected to be easy to track...and OF COURSE it was "secret"....very real fear, then, from the "Communist threat", and lots of "Cold War" offensive/defensive/responsive activities were secret.

The "spraying" was very localized....and they even simulated releasing of chemicals at ground level, using lorries and other vehicles.

BUT....for the aerial spraying, WHERE were the public outcry, when they looked up and SAW all that "stuff in the sky"??? There was none, because they couldn't see it!!!

See the logical disconnect yet?

The "chemtrail" hoaxers have people all bothered and running around in panic and fear and faux outrage over NORMAL airplane contrails!!!

Dont know if anyone looked for this as i didn't read the whole topic, And the main argument being dont believe everything you read, here are some u.s patents for weather modification www.patentstorm.us... www.patentstorm.us... And if you take a moment to read through you will realise how weather control/modification is indeed possible, so are contrails really that much of a stretch of the imagination? and if that still is to hard to believe ask yourself why in 1977 they decided they needed laws to protect us from weather modification en.wikipedia.org....

Yes, contrails being mistaken/misidentified as so-called "chemtrails" ARE a 'stretch of the imagination'.

Your very links show this, as well as your edit. This shows actions that are specific in purpose, for selected results. Such as, the hurricane mitigation studies. It is about (hopefully) finding ways to disrupt a building hurricane, before it can cause devastation upon landfall.

These are are BENEFICIAL investigations, not the "fear and hand-waving" that the "chemtrail" hoaxers try ot spread.

Note, too...in the Wiki articles. People are seeing the words and reacting unnecessarily...words like "weather warfare" (you can link to that, from the WIki article) which merely describe cloud seeding to induce enormous amounts of rain, as a method of intimidation of offensive method in "war".

"Chemtrail" hoaxers play on this and induce fear-mongering in order to sell their baloney....

Think about the numbers you are quoting here. 30,000 pounds is the equivalent of nearly 200 passengers, or the entire capacity of a large commercial jetliner. This huge amount of chemical is dispersed in twenty seconds. Are these figures in any way congruent with your belief in "chemtrails?"

its not my statistics mate search the patent number and read it for yourself. And also to say this technology exists but is purely for the safety of mankind and wouldn't be manipulated for any evil deeds is incredibly ignorant im not saying every streak in the sky is weather modification but of course theres going to be ones that are. ive put the patents there for you if you dont want to read them and dont want to read the laws in place for protection from them its up to you im not here to change your opinion but offer answers to people who are asking the questions instead of passing it off as sudo science or none existent at all
