Supporters of Ground Zero Mosque to Protest on September 11th!

This is ridiculous:

The supporters of the Ground Zero Mosque are planning something that is insulting to everyone who suffered in the September 11th atrocities. In a crass move, a protest is planned on the ninth anniversary of the murders even as the site's Twitter feed asks for contributions.

I don't know what to say any more.

Um, well, I know what I will say. Proof?

They may very well be planning a protest on 9/11, but I cannot find anything yet from that group talking about it. Still looking though. I would be a bit disappointed if people take this bait without something to back it up.

ETA: What I do see is that the Opponents of the Mosque will be holding a protest on that day.

The destruction of the lives of innocents no longer matters when poll numbers can be gained.
