what's your favorite scary movie

Everyone here has a favorite horror film or film series. One great film series is the Nightmare on Elm Street series. No one can touch Freddy! What are you choices for favorite horror gems.

Oh come on....Jason was much more scary than Freddy. My favorite scary movie is a tie between Dead Snow (best horror comedy) and Pearl Harbor. Ben Affleck gives me the heeby bo jeebies.

My favorite... Halloween 1 and 2 ( The originals) and Halloween 4 and 5.

I am just a huge fan of the Halloween franchise...

Nightmare On Elm Street had some great movies, though towards the end of the franchise, they were really struggling.... Except for when Wes Craven came back and did The New Nightmare... That was great...

I never could get into Jason. I always found it boring. Just not quite as good as it could be...


Now if you want to get into classics, Look for an old movie called Freaks. It's from the 1930's I believe, but it is just great.

Communion, is the movie adaptation of the Whitley Strieber book and it scared the hell out of me.

The original Texas Chainsaw massacre is fantastic.

The original amityville horror.

A couple newer ones....

House of 1000 corpses and the devils rejects.... Fantastic movies.

I am a HUGE scary movie fan.... I swear I wont be happy until I have seen every single scary movie
