Sorry for the confusion, but my point was, that this storm has paused the work, this cap was suppose to be temporary, and they don't even know how long it can hold, the pressure might destroy the cap and the well head.



Retired Coast Guard Admiral Thad Allen, the US official overseeing the spill response, said the evacuation would set back efforts to finally 'kill' the leaking well by several days, and could leave the cap unmonitored until the storm passes.


I'm saying there is a chance, I'm not at all saying it is a definite.
