Iran says nuclear scientist learned valuable info about CIA

(CNN) -- The Iranian nuclear scientist who returned home last week from the United States has provided valuable information about the CIA, Iran's semiofficial Fars news agency said Wednesday.

Fars cited an anonymous source who said Shahram Amiri's stay in the United States was a plan by Iranian intelligence that worked to perfection.

"This was an intelligence battle between America's CIA and us that was orchestrated and managed by Iran," the source was quoted as saying. "In planning this battle we saw a variety of intelligence goals and, with God's will, we reached all of our goal

Is Iran a "big" player in the global spy game? Or are they just trying to look relevant when it comes to the spy game?

Was this a scientist that decided defecting was a bad idea, or was he really set in place to collect Americas secrets?

I listen to what Iran has to say about global matters.. Strangly enough, they make sense. I listen to Ahmadinejad and I think to myself... The guy makes allot of sense...

But, then I remember that their Govt. is run by religious kooks!
