I miss the old ATS

Ok. I'm drinking some vodka (not an alcoholic) and feel like ranting.

You know what I miss? I miss the OLD ATS.... When I joined ATS in 2003, I was still a viewer since about 2001... Never posted anything, just read and read everything.

Now, I remember when ATS was a smaller community, with some really great posts/news articles. I also remember when ATS took the HUGE leap in redoing the layout and massive additions to the forum. Ever since then I have watch it just go down hill. Now there are still those great threads/news articles but much much more of those false flags, fear mongering and just straight up BS threads. Not only that but it is MASSIVE and very easy to get lost with keeping track with threads It's really sad. But, some days I just really wish ATS was still secretive and not as mainstream as it is now

Yeah but even in 2003 people were still complaining about how they miss the old ATS.

Yeah I think I probably said that then too haha

Lets not forget the benefits of an increased membership though too...

It's always easy to pine for the "good old days", but that's only because we're remembering the "good" things, while sweeping the downsides under the carpet...
