Geoff Forden, specialist on Chinese missiles, discusses possible prosaic causes for the ‘light show’:

"The most credible image shows an arc streaking across the sky soon after (near?) local sunset. Assuming this is actually the “UFO” and that it really was taken at Hangzhou, then we can say some interesting things about its trajectory."

That video of the thing streaking across the sky like a giant comet, which has been appearing alongside stories of the China UFO airport shutdown incident has nothing to do with the delayed/rerouted flights. I watched that video a good week or two prior to the China sighting.

I was really confused when I first saw it used in conjunction with reports of that sighting, because I remembered watching it previously and knew it was unrelated (it's a very distinct and memorable vid). I'm even more confused now because so many sources are using that footage. Weird.

Not only that but the that infamous long exposure shot is also said to be unrelated. Especially considering that picture and this one don't even look remotely alike. Seriously whoever is reporting this story...WTF?

Could be that the reason this June 30th vid and the infamous long exposure shot,( of which neither are related to the object or some thing that cause the air port to shut), is because they have something that can possibly explaine away as the source of this air port closure.

"Do not worry folks explanation found, no need for radar data, carry on as normal". Can picture that headlines now in the Chinese media soon.

why cant we just close all china ufo/threads until an official release? Its likely we wont get one but we wont get any closer speculating over unconfirmed and unrelated media.

Having all these china ufo threads is messing up the tidyness of the forum. If we must have an open thread at all for the china ufo let it just be the 1 thread so everything is in 1 place.

Superiorraw.....

It's a tough one!

On the one hand.....

Jim does know his stuff & does post a lot of pertinent, useful info.....& this could get lost in the many concurrent threads about this topic.

On the other hand.....

It is another China UFO thread!

Oh well.....

As per my earliest posts about this case, I believe this case will remain an obfuscated mess for many different reasons & we will never know what was going on.

Kind regards
Maybe...maybe not

There are plenty of China Airport UFO threads. And this one seems to be the most currently active one.

Thread Closed.
