I've recently been charged with maintaining my friends website, because he's a little clueless.

It comes with a basic online-editor, but it's not great and I've stretched it to its limits. Can anyone recommend a decent package I can use on Linux/Xubuntu? I'm not a total noob, but something fairly easy and intuitive would be nice.

Noticed that no one suggested anything...

I think any of these three things would be good for you. They are all WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) style editors.

NVu
The Composer component of SeaMonkey
Kompozer

I personally like Bluefish, but it is not a WYSIWYG editor.
