Somalian charged in US Bomb Plot

Attorney General John Ashcroft announced the indictment at a Justice Department news conference and used the occasion to warn anew of al-Qaida's threat. "Current credible intelligence indicates that al-Qaida wants to hit the United States, to hit the United States hard," he said.

This bomb plot was intended to take place following Sept. 11, but never happened. How credible to people think the terror threat really is in the United States? I for one think this is more propaganda to scare people into believing there is a real threat in the present. He was properly taken into custody for being an al Qaeda operative, but I see no evidence of the past conspiracy, nor of one to be committed in the future. How immediate to people see the CURRENT threat in light of this recent indictment? Was Sept. 11 a one-time thing?

so if it was real....should the govt let it happen cause some people think its propaganda?....no way in hell terror cells could be here...


they find enough evidence this guy was gonna do it...as a non uniformed combatant .he should be dealt with like they used too..shot on site
