American Cleric Tied to Times Square and Christmas Day Bombing Attempts Gets New Website

Al Qaeda is promoting the upcoming online release of its first English magazine called "Inspire," and one of the first guest writers being promised is Anwar Al Alwaki, the America born cleric linked to several terror attacks on the United States.

Awlaki is tied to three of the Sept. 11, 2001, hijackers, the attack at Fort Hood military base, the attempted bombing on Christmas Day and the failed attack on Times Square earlier this year.

Is this for real or could it be a trap for people wanting to be followers of the terror suspect? If it is a trap, it would seem to be a good idea. It would be a way for the federal government to gather intelligence on potential attackers, while also fear mongering the public into accepting legislation.

It would seem a little difficult for a wanted terrorist to start a website that c/wouldn't be traced. So, is this really a terrorist starting a terror website, is it the government creating a trap based upon a real terrorist or is it the government faking a website and a terrorist?
