2. Entree:Tom yam Soup
3. Main course: Fillet steak from that expensive Japanese Cow (wagyu meat) with some Belgium fries and a mix of mushroom - pepper sauce
4. A big fat joint (i have not done this since a couple of years, but considering it's the last day, i would not want to miss on this one)

- of course everything has to be prepared by a michelin chef

EDIT : STARS and FLAGS, because i am getting very hungry now, reading through all these posts

Soup? - Yes please, not going to eat it - just for pretties - make it colorful!

Yes! Exactly.

Flavor is important, but it's not the only component to a meal. I mentioned texture, SeekerofTruth101 mentioned location, you mention prettiness...all of these are important.

You can't simply have "good food" and call that a complete meal. Eating is about the experience of a meal, not merely its taste.

I'm such a country boy. It would only be fitting to go out the way I was raised.

1. At least 2 quarts of grandad's homebrewed pale ale.
2. Deep fried beer battered catfish. Skillet fried 'taters, and onions.
3. Blackeyed peas with ham hock, and plenty of oven warm cornbread, and butter.
4. Homemade pumpkin pie, and homemade ice cream, no store bought junk.

Nothing fancy, just good old southern fried comfort food.

Good Thread.

1. A glass of well aged single malt, preferably from the Spey Area, perhaps a Dallas Dhu.

2. Foie Gras on toast accompanied with a rich cranberry sauce.

3. Skirt of beef, chipped potatoes and a rich mushroom sauce.

4. Sides would be garlic mushrooms and a nice green salad.

5. Creme Catalan.

6. Make love to my wife and hold her close as the end arrives.

Now, I am ready to die and experience whatever comes after.

1. 3 Gallon glass of Scotch Whiskey.

2. Last entree: Full English sunday roast (comprising of roast potatoes, yorkshire puddings, roast beef, peas, carrots, sweetcorn, spring cabbage and a thick meaty gravy) - no sense in letting good cooking go unloved!

3. Last (2) side items of choice are 1) Plateful of hot, buttered Crumpets - 2) beer flavoured chips (no... honest... you can get them!).

4. Last dessert of choice would have to be four pints of rum and whiskey ice cream

I suppose that if the end was here....

I'd fry up some chicken, have some mashed potatoes with brown gravy...snap beans with a ham hock, those little cukes and vidalia onions sliced in vinegar, sliced tomatoes, butter beans and corn, and homemade bisquits.

sweet iced tea

my momma's 12 layer chocolate cake...12 thin yellow cake layers with homemade chocolate fudge icing in between and gently spread outside

or maybe her Mississippi Mud cake

or her corn pudding

I think I'm gonna cry........

Actually it would be what I'm making/drinking right now:

Vasse Felix Heytsbury wine
Mashed potatoes
Roast pumpkin, garlic & lamb (with mint sauce of course).

Not having dessert tonight, but would probably be lemon cheesecake and whipped cream. Oh, and a final cigarette! Oh, and coffee. Lots and lots of coffee.

Awesome topic

I rarely sign in due to the inconvenience of doing so on my mobile phone, but this topic caught my attention. Great question OP! So here it is:
1. Johnny Walker Blue, straight up on the rocks,of course
2. Kobe Beef steak, cooked rare, this one's always been on my bucket list anyways
3. Sweet potato, with farm-fresh non-pasturized butter, cinnamon and brown sugar. Steamed broccoli with hollendaise sauce and shredded cheddar cheese.4.Creme Brulee, and a bag of skittles. But not together.
A girl can dream, can't she?
I'm so interested in the answers that I might just ask everyone this question today.

If you still have a restaurant you should do and End of the World banquet some night, take a selection of the best suggestions here and put a menu together then pick a nice sunny day when there will be a beautiful sunset.

That would be awesome, and is also very easy to suggest whilst sitting on my sofa

1. Last drink of choice.
2. Last entree of choice.
3. Last (2) side items of choice.
4. Last dessert of choice.

Assume that there are no restrictions upon what you could eat, meaning any food from anywhere was available to you for consumption...call it one final gift from the culinary gods before you head off to the freezer.

I will hold off on my choices, so as not to influence anyone.

1. ICE TEA
2. CHICKEN PARMSIAN PASTA MEAL
3. CORN ON THE COB & STRING BEANS
4. DEVIL FOOD CAKE
And why are we heading to the freezer, SMH???

Ready to die after eating that!

If this were during the apocalypse it would probably be a little different;
