Have you noticed a change in the quality and kind home school curriculum available lately ... religious and secular?

tell us what you're thinking, is the big boy's up to something. i'm curious.... another bunch needs a butt kicking.huh!! can people do their own curriculum, or is that not allowed

It seems that the vast majority of home school curriculum available today is strictly religious-based. Which is fine and dandy if that's the way you would like to raise your child. Unfortunately, it seems that the emphasis is based on the religious aspect instead of on the academic.

Try unschooling instead. Looks like the way forward. I wish I had had that option when I raised my kids, but it's mandatory for kids to go to school here unless there is a medical reason otherwise.
