So the breakdown on doubling of information is:

Once between Christ and Leonardo Da Vinci

Once between Da Vinci and the Revolution

Once again between Revolution and early 1900's

Once again in 1950, 1960, 1967, 1973
Today info doubles every 18 months and by 2012 it is expected to double every day and then by the end of 2012 every second....WOW
Should be interesting times technologically speaking.

It's ridiculous to think information will be doubling every second by the end of 2012...nobody here believes that, do they? Not even the guy in the video who said that believes it! What nonsense.

Now the historical information about doubling of information is a different story, that's actually real and interesting.

Even monthly doubling will be crazy! I can't think of what it would be like unless the quantum computer comes out for processing. Then the ole Matrix style brainstem interface and here we go.

I like his analogy of calling infinity or god what it is because it is the grandest thing we can relate it to. I like Wilson's charisma and humor...RIP Robert

information can easily double every second when next/next/next... generation computers start generating it. artificial intelligence is pretty much here.
