This is about immigration and redtape.

New York (CNN) -- Not everyone expects a response when they write a letter to the president of the United States. But Caroline Jamieson got much more than she expected when her husband ended up in jail and afraid he would be deported. Source

I guess they can handle the onesy, twosy deportations just fine...and when people try to do the right thing? Oh the irony.

How was he doing the right thing by marrying to try and evade the deportation order? He tried to circumvent the system, broke the law. Now CNN tries to spin the story that this person who broke the law is a victim. There are thousands of people who have and are still trying to become citizens legally. This woman thinks that because her husband is black and shares a similar background that of the POTUS that her letter would entitle them to some special treatment.

"I felt a special kinship to him because I'm of mixed race, and my husband obviously has a similar background," Jamieson told CNN.

Deport them both to Cameroon...

This article is so jam packed with propaganda and promotion of a particular political viewpoint, that I question if it even happened.

It just seems like it's all faked/concocted.

To pull at peoples heart strings and try to sway their opinion on the illegal immigrant issue.

Exactly.

That is why I called it a propaganda piece.

They are trying to manipulate public opinion subtly.

I am just getting so sick of lies lately from the MSM for their stupid agendas...

Well he did get married, and did try to make it legal. Didn't try to stay illegally is all I meant. In other words, he didn't evade the issue.

I will add though that I found the whole story very...odd.

Maybe I'm too tired to see which agenda this is. Could you give me a few clues? Thanks.

Be wary of asking for help....for the help you get may not be the help you want!

HA HA! What fools. It serves them right!

Keep taking the illegal out. I do not give a rat’s rear if you are old, young, white, yellow, or purple if they are here illegally they should be removed. I am sick of the media and bleeding hearts trying to convince everyone that those who are illegal are not a harm and are good people.

If they were doing the good thing, they would not be here illegally.

What about the media that wants us to hate, fear, and blame them. It's all part of the same game. There's always two sides to an issue, but it's also not so black and white. Both sides have sound arguments. Both arguments are filled with propaganda to serve one agenda or another. I guess it's all about which side you'd rather be on.

Fill out the paper work and do what it takes to be legal here. Those that do that I have no problem with, those that are here illegally are burdening the system.

I do not hate them I want them out, there is s difference.

What's the side opposite from "it's illegal?" I'm sure I'm missing something in that whole debate. And I do think it's black and white...not many things are, but this one is. I'm baffled that there even is a debate.

That is sort of what I was thinking.

You are either legal or illegal, that is black and white.

Why are there people who are trying to complicate what is a relative very simple issue? I've not read or heard a clear answer about this yet. And you know why? Because there isn't one. They don't know.

Yeah...it's illegal but...

Try telling that to a judge for any other crime.

“I know killing that guy was illegal but he took my parking spot.”

“I know stealing that designer pair of shoes was illegal but they look so pretty on my feet.”

“I know that girl was 12 your honor, but……”

Yeah it just does not sound right does it?

I wish I could star you more.

So what is the problem? Some one is actually trying to enforce the law?

Well, what do we want for god sake? Do we want the immigration laws enforced or no!?!?! Why do we seem so unable to make up our minds on this.

We all feel strongly about it. We can't have it both ways!

No...I'm all for enforcing the law. I guess I misunderstood the article, but I took it as someone trying to do things the right way and getting arrested...when millions have done it the wrong way and are probably going to get amnesty.
