President Obama is completely worthless as a president

You should examine the history of US, relating to false flag terrorist attacks, artificial crisis creation etc. Obama does what he has been told to do. The Illuminati control him, as they control almost everything. I don't understand why any of you still believe in the american presidency,.... OMG OBAMA #ED UP?! really? is it that hard to believe? You people really get me. What are you expecting the man to do? Are you thinking he'll wade into the ocean, rip off his shirt and destroy the oil with fireballs from his eyes? This isn't even comparable to Katrina!

When Katrina happened all that needed to be done was to ship the national guard in, send tons of supplies within the first 12 hours and provide the needed basic infrastructure to support the people while the national guard kept things under control. This really was an easy fix.

The oil is spewing from a vent under the ocean, the pressures involved make any normal engineering solution incredibly difficult or simply impossible. Drilling this deep is a relatively new practice and so the engineers are exposed to some seriously novel problems.

The man can do only one thing, rely upon the experts he has and that's exactly what he is doing. Yes countries have offered help but they don't seem to have come up with anything that would fix the spill because if they did it would be splashed all over the news. The simple truth is that we don't really know what the countries offered, i am sure what they offered was considered to be either unworkable or had already been tried.

Oh and i don't like Obama as a president, just for the record, i'm also not american so no axe to grind i assure you.

It's also interesting to note that the Jones Act pertains SPECIFICALLY to ships carrying trade goods. It has no effect on ships coming for aid, mechanical repairs, disaster relief, or anything else. It only pertains to trade. That's it.

Perhaps you should read the actual act rather than trusting a random news rag to interpret it for you.

For me all the recent(ish) events, such as, the exposure and corruption of Wall St, the tragedy that's bubbling away in the Gulf of Mexico, H1N1 vaccines, the unpopular immigration policies, healthcare and so on is all about finding the tipping point.

The various techniques used by the media over the years to manipulate the masses have been too successful. There is almost nothing that can't be put upon the American people that they won't grin and bear... sure they will moan about it but ultimately it will be accepted.

I believe that once there is enough misery, travesty and unpopular doodoo heaped on the emotional seesaw of the populace and it finally tips... then the real reason will become clear. Absolute control will be enforced.

A similar story seems to be happening across the globe and it's starting to feel unstoppable..

Why do all Americans seem to assume the President has some sort of supernatural powers? In reality his role should be a lot more limited than it is as set out in the constitution. I couldn't agree more...in fact...with the limitations of what a President can do without being impeached or arrested...could Obama have done any more to ruin this country, alienate it's people and attempt to destroy democracy than he has thus far. He is an enemy of this land and it's people and it is time for him to be unseated.
