The Secret Chinese Media

Amazing article! Apparently some reporters are reporting on political unrest and such throughout China.

However the catch is only Chinese leaders are allowed access to this information, and the reporters doing it are mainly uber-loyal communists

Now it seems leaders are having problems because these reporters are slanting the information in favor of the regime too much and the leaders are losing touch with reality.

Its a really neat story of big brother biting itself in the butt. I never thought about this dynamic of a government controlling information; that if they are going to put out fake information they also need a parallel system to bring the real information they need to run the country.

I think in the end China will be an example to governments the world over that you cannot control the people with the state, its supposed to be the other way around.

Leung Kwok-hung is an interesting personality to keep your eye on if you are a China watcher.

Its no secret the chinese media is pure propaganda, thats why they completely censor the internet so people cant figure it out. I dont think it will last forever though...
