Holes punched in clouds are a phenomenon that has been recognized for many years and seen in photos from around the world. A front-page feature on Yahoo! carried the headline "A Halo over Moscow" after photos emerged of just such a hole in October 2009.

Hole-punched clouds and accidental cloud seeding may be more common in regions such as the Pacific Northwest and western Europe where cloud layers with supercooled droplets are more common, Heymsfield said.

Does anybody really believe this stuff? We are supposed to believe that jets suddenly have the ability to change the weather? Jets have been around for a long long time now and yet only in the past few years have we started to see these "hole punch" cloud formations and chemtrails that streak the sky turning blue skies to hazy overcasts.

Its been a few years since I had seen it but it was not bad.

Well, yeah...its been observed for years now, even before the internet was around. Circular holes (real hole punch clouds, lol) are caused by virga precipitating from cirrus through a lower cloud layer like altocumulus. Again this has been observed for years
