The estimated super high pressure release of oil from under the earth's crust is between 80,000 to 100,000 barrels per day.

The flow of oil and toxic gases is bringing up with it... rocks and sand which causes the flow to create a sandblasting effect on the remaining well head device currently somewhat restricting the flow, as well as the drilled hole itself.

As the well head becomes worn it enlarges the passageway allowing an ever-increasing flow. Even if some device could be placed onto the existing wellhead, it would not be able to shut off the flow, because what remains of the existing wellhead would not be able to contain the pressure.

The well head piping is originally about 2 inches thick. It is now likely to be less than 1 inch thick, and thinning by each passing moment. The oil has now reached the Gulf Stream and is entering the Oceanic current which is at least four times stronger than the current in the Gulf, which will carry it throughout the world within 18 months.

The oil along with the gasses, including benzene and many other toxins, is deleting the oxygen in the water. This is killing all life in the ocean. Along with the oil along the shores, there will be many dead fish, etc. that will have to be gathered and disposed of.

and if that wasnt bad enough....

At some point the drilled hole in the earth will enlarge itself beneath the wellhead to weaken the area the wellhead rests upon. The intense pressure will then push the wellhead off the hole allowing a direct unrestricted flow of oil, etc.

The hole will continue to increase in size allowing more and more oil to rise into the Gulf. After several billion barrels of oil have been released, the pressure within the massive cavity five miles beneath the ocean floor will begin to normalize.

This will allow the water, under the intense pressure at 1 mile deep, to be forced into the hole and the cavity where the oil was. The temperature at that depth is near 400 degrees, possibly more.

The water will be vaporized and turned into steam, creating an enormous amount of force, lifting the Gulf floor. It is difficult to know how much water will go down to the core and therefore, its not possible to fully calculate the rise of the floor.

The tsunami wave this will create will be anywhere from 20 to 80 feet high, possibly more. Then the floor will fall into the now vacant chamber. This is how nature will seal the hole.

Depending on the height of the tsunami, the ocean debris, oil, and existing structures that will be washed away on shore and inland, will leave the area from 50 to 200 miles inland devoid of life. Even if the debris is cleaned up, the contaminants that will be in the ground and water supply will prohibit re-population of these areas for an unknown number of years

Really it says everything we don't want to say or acknowledge. Deep down we all know that this is going to be bad and most of us think that it'll be a nightmare. But how do you say that without losing focus on what is at hand right now?

Thanks for posting this. At least ol' Mother Earth will heal, even if the human race takes the huge hit that I believe we've earned in a way. (Either by buying into needing oil in the first place, or by allowing control freaks to put the rigs in such a place).

Good to hear that the planet will eventually fix the problem through natural means. It is however, already a devastating event in a multitude of ways. I'm sure that anyone who has payed at least some attention to the disaster has discerned this as well.

With the reports of things going on around the GOM, it really makes me wonder when the event they are expecting is going to happen. A hurricane moving through the area would be a horrible scenario. A hurricane along with a 20 - 80 foot tsunami on top of storm surges would be like a huge storm with multiple waves of death rolling onshore.

If this keeps spewing for "years" as some have said is possible,( I will try and find a source on that one, if someone doesn't beat me to it.) it makes me wonder how much it would effect the value of water, worldwide. I mean, once the different substances coming from the blown out well mix with the gulf stream,(which I have not heard much on recently) that could really wreak havok not just for us here in the United States of America, but around the Atlantic Ocean. And lets face it, there is no giant walls separating the oceans, so it would only be a matter of time before on some level (as minute as it may be) all of them would be affected.

It does seem as if this could be one of the "judgements" God could be bringing on this earth to punish for the greed and corruption.

Too bad the innocent perish right along with the wicked.

Biblically speaking,as bad as this is,there's alot more wrath to come.

Steam you say? How so? Are you assuming that the water will boil and produce steam? Maybe but maybe not. The boiling point of water goes up as pressure rises. Need to compute the pressure down there and also the boiling point to find this out.

If there is no steam and the oil pressure equalizes to that of the sea and that depth then, if the riser is unrestricted by cave ins or other disturbances, the oil and gas, if any, which is left below will want to rise up and float on the water because it is lighter than water. If this continues unabated then the cavity will simply fill with sea water and all the oil will be in a free state in the gulf.

There will still be hell to pay for a very long time and people will have to evacuate the areas in which gasses are already making them sick. During all this it will be the same old story where private business is pitted against the government to see who is right and wrong while people die.

Right wing radio idiots will, as always, defend business and decry government. They are such fools.

Pisses me off royally but I have a car too so I must share the blame. Someday when "people" become more important than "profit" this will be a better world.

We mustn't hold our breaths for that to happen....

Two theories here:

1/ This for completely for real and we are all fooked.

2/ This is the greatest con job in the entire history of the world.

Now consider this.

When this oil blowout story broke, Goldman Sachs was on the skewer being barbecued by Congress about corruption, and all the nefarious doings of Wall Street.
Everyone was incensed the skeletons were tumbling out of the Goldman Sachs closet,and shock horror, the TRUTH was slowly emerging.
But now that has all very suddenly and conveniently been forgotten. Hmmm......

This huge news event absolutely blankets anything else that is happening, such as a forthcoming very unpopular assault on Iran. And the slow but sure disintegration of the entire world banking and financial system.

It also helps the agenda to control and evacuate (and disarm) a large population around the Gulf area, and get Americans used to being herded like animals by FEMA and the US military.

Obama can let this all run for a while, then perform an absolute miracle and pull a rabit out of his hat, very conveniently just before the November election.
He will then be seen as being a super hero and will expect every grateful American that HE saved to vote for him.

All a hugely convenient well orchestrated, and fortuitous sequence of events that will tie many strategies together and be hugely beneficial to the popularity of despot and totally corrupt US Government.

Now all we have seen is some escaped oil, and a blown up oil rig.
Huge secrecy surrounds all this.
Nobody is allowed to go out there and see for themselves.
BP workers and fishermen have been gagged. The media are being kept well away......
All foreign help has been refused.
Why is that ?

This is a HUGE news event, but it is being treated like some top secret covert government operation.
Maybe it is.

The whole truth is being kept from us, but why ??

Because its not real.

This could all be nothing.
