I have been amazed by this thread www.abovetopsecret.com... , so I searched ATS to see if we have a thread dedicated to cloud formations. I haven't found one so I have started one here.

So if you have any wonderful picture or information about clouds and the science behind them then please post them here. I will get us started by posting some links to some of the sites i have come across.

www.stuffintheair.com...

These sites give a good guide to some of the different clouds we can see in our skies.

oceanservice.noaa.gov...

And here are some of my own picture's that i have taken in the UK. Enjoy and i look forward to all the info and pictures from other members

Great stuff. There's a lot of cloud fans on ATS and I'm one. Someone once said the sky is-

"the greatest free show on earth"

and I thoroughly agree. Got to look up some cool pics now and post them here.

Those pics are awesome. Here's a little one I took years ago. It's very simple but nice, I think.

I left work yesterday and there above me in the sky
was a message that I interpreted as, "You're Screwed"!!!!

It looked like a giant penis. I had to point it out to people in
the parking lot. I didn't have to say what it was. Just said,
"Hey get a load of that cloud".

I need a camera desperately.

Thought I'd share that.

Yes, clouds will get more and more spectacular because the atmosphere is being "loaded" with chemicals to alter the weather patterns.

I took this pic of a cloud over Denver a couple of weeks ago.

[atsimg]http://files.abovetopsecret.com/images/member/37f43121bacd.jpg[/atsimg]

It was right after they had record hail.

That is a storm front. A Cummulonimbus, with incus. Perfectly normal and common, especially in early summer.
It doesn't need chemicals to look that way.

I love clouds and storms! My favorite site is :

cloudappreciationsociety.org...

My favorite of the site is the gallery, and the "Clouds that look like things". Most of the pictures in the gallery (I think perhaps all, but not 100% sure) are identified.

My favorite cloud and weather guide is from Harper Collins Publishers. It's a Collins wild guide, "Weather" and is a collaboration with the Smithsonian. I hightly recommend it as a quick reference.
My favorite online book about clouds is:

consci.s3.amazonaws.com...

It's a Cloud Study with pictures (and a chapter on how the pictures were taken with mirrors and glass plates), published 1905. This book is my favorite because it shows lots of clouds that people insist today must be "chemtrail" related, yet was made before the Wright brothers flew. So they are 100% normal, natural clouds, labeled as such.

I don't see the popular lens cloud in 1905, it must have escaped sighting.

I think its propaganda to discount the hovering craft that might attract
moisture.

That is a nice assortment of clouds.
The saucer clouds formed on top of mountains might have escaped
people in 1905 but when mountains are not around how do round
clouds form.

My post in the strange cloud cover topic.
Id say round clouds, UFO clouds, puffy chemtrails, and the new
turbulent cloud cover is all due to ether vibrations.
And we know where they come from.

just before sun down yesterday i looked outside and thought my the clouds look strange today, and then it hit me if you think about it and see pics of si fi movies with the strange alien planets and strange clouds, that is what some of the above pics and the clouds i see yesterday looked like,it seems our world is becoming alien to us,at least that is what i think, our world does not look the same anymore

Here is a video of trails with clear skies:

Now the special ships that fly on ether waves will not make
much of an impression in clear weather but under cloud
cover must push the clouds around in unnatural shapes.

And UFO clouds must be in the same category for ships
on station.

With 80B dollars (see Bill Gates on Energy in the news today)
set up to make up lies about the effects of special ship they must
fear the day BP goofed or was it planned to usher in a new age.
They don't seem to want to stop the oil. I wonder why.
A new hole can always be drilled to find the oil.
Not covering up the leak just does not make sense.
A bigger disaster is needed to cover up bigger lies.

When you spot the type of clouds in this photo get your camera out and wait. Quite often you'll get a classic flying saucer shape.
