Ixtoc 1 oil spill

Prevailing currents carried the oil towards the Texas coastline. The US government had two months to prepare booms to protect major inlets. Pemex spent $100 million to clean up the spill and avoided paying compensation by asserting sovereign immunity.[10] from WIKI

Mexico is not a good neighbor for you guys so "what goes around comes around" NO?

I know our immigration policy is very very strict (Kuwait) and for years America let all this illegal migration with lax law-enforcement. Now you will need the land to re-locate refugees from the gulf soon it will be un-inhabitable....May not matter anyway because I think this to be a seventh seal event. Regardless, Obama better pull troops out of ME and start stationing the border. Mexico has no real money plus the govt is shady and cannot deal with this spill and when that economy shatters they will flock into America.

so I guess Arizona immigration policy doesn't look so bad now.

Thoughts?

Im confused. What does Mexico have to do with the oil splill and why would they need to "deal with this spill" and why would their "economy shatter"?

Because the oil will eventually drift into their shoreline once GOM currents shift in August. These currents shift seasonally.

Yucatan peninsula all the way to texas border will get smashed with oil

The projected path takes the oil into the loop current taking it out of the Gulf and into the Atlantic along the eastern U.S. The western gulf doesnt seem likely right now. A hurricane could mix things up though.

Yes but in August what does Mexico do that is projection date. This whole middle east experiment isn't working and now those troops should just come home and help with oil.
