Well, this isn't some stranger to these lions, this is someone they have grown up around, they trust him and know that he isn't there to try and
hurt them.
When they see and smell this guy coming they probably think somewhere along the lines of "hey it's that nice guy that gives us foot rubs!"
I doubt he would be able to do this to lions in the wild.
Great pics shows some people can live in harmony with nature according to the article he has the same knack with bears and elephants..
On a similar note theres the Tiger Temple in Thailand where the monks raise and care for tigers. The tigers wander the grounds and do interact with
the monks and visitors.
lol.. funny pictures. That lion thinks he has the best pets in the World.. trained to give him foot massages on top of feeding and watering him.
"Known to wave his foot expectantly to his keepers" lol.. gotta love it.
In Melbourne we have the Werribee Free Range zoo and Melbourne Zoo.
At Werribee you jump in a bus, with caged windows and they drive you round the open fields..Yes, we are the caged ones
When I was a kid all the animals were in tiny, barred cages...
Now they are a little bit more free...Its great..
Lol that would be something to see.. Have always had a fascination with cats visited the Tiger Temple a few times over the years both for learning
(visit many temples to study and to meditate) and to see the tigers.
