I'm not sure whether you appreciate that the Lord's Love and the Lord's willingness to judge the world with righteousness go together. They are two sides of the same coin, because the saving or rescuing of his people involves the removal of whatever is troubling them.
That is the theme of Revelation. The destruction of the powers of evil, as dscribed in the middle chapters, is the necessary preparation for the "new Jerusalem" of the final chapters.

My response to the claims made about the year 2012 was that I could see no prophetic significance in the date.
This position seems to have been vindicated.

This series was running ten years ago, and may be topical again now.
