News networks say access to oil spill ' slowly being strangled off '

The Coast Guard is restricting media access to oiled beaches and are also restricting airspace by denying charter flights with media aboard to fly below 3000 feet. Reason given : " These restrictions are in place in order to protect wildlife and ensure safe air traffic", along with "BP rules ". This is corporate arrogance using our government who obviously is in their back pocket ; to police and control the masses . With the recent admitted failed attempt in capping the well , I can't see BP holding off the media for very much longer.

So how bad is the impact of this disaster so far, shouldn't it be our ' RIGHT ' to see what kind of damage this transnational corporation has done to our fragile ecological environment , not to mention the huge economic impact to the area ? How can B.P. call the shots on who is allowed where and what altitude a chartered plane is allowed to fly over the area ?
