They'll keep the coutdown at a 9 min hold, 2:20 is most likely an ideal launch window.

its a planned extended HOLD to do final checks - I always hate this one as its the one the last few launches I have attempted to watch the weather has caught them out!

Sounds that way - Im listening to the NASA feed and it seems they are closing out a couple of problem checks that might lengthen the hold but only potentially.

I will miss these launches - only discovered how good NASA TV was a couple of years ago so Im cursing all the launches i missed. Made up for it by staying up late a few times to watch the whole process and found it fascinating.

The isssue they are waiting for a close out on is related to a ball bearing found on the back of the payload bay before they shut the payload doors.

They think its a retaining ball from one of the camera mounts but are awaiting total confirmation. They had confirmation but further scrutiny lead to further discussion.
