Released on Monday, removed from YouTube the same day, reinstated with an "age restriction", then taken down once more (and possibly for good) on Tuesday. The life of MIA's new video seems destined to be a nasty, brutish and short one. Unlike the video itself, which at nine minutes of gruelling, dystopian terror, is nasty, brutish and quite long.
So which mark is it supposedly overstepping?
You should also talk about the South Park episode. Which one is worse? Who gets to decide? As far as I'm aware, NO ONE in the public has yet seen the full unedited South Park episode.
Coincidentally they both deal with gingers... which is odd. They both seem to be using gingers as a metaphor for a 'targeted group'.
And the 'random' overweight sex-scene and old man smoking crack are not just 'random'... They are there to show the double standard that some people are treated violently, while others are ignored.
Obesity is a huge issue in America, so how can you say it is 'random'?

Gingers, drug users, and obese people were ALL Born Free. This is emblematic of the principles that this country was founded upon. We are endowed by our 'creator'(whatever that may be, or not be) as equal and sovereign beings.
They made it a point to establish that our rights are not given to us by our government, but by something like 'god' that isn't tangible and therefore we are responsible for ourselves and no one should interfere with our 'Word' because our 'Word', as sovereign people, is LAW.
This video illustrates that apparently, someone arbitrary is out there is making decisions as to who gets to live in prosperity - and who doesn't. Who gets to be free, and who doesn't.
You are missing the point, and not analyzing the film well at all.
