Bill Maher guest, and militias.

I was watching a new episode of Bill Maher (for fun don't crucify me). They covered the topic of militias, and upon opening up of this topic one of the guest decided to say, "Why don't we just call them terrorist already!". Now I do understand why people are for them, but i can also see the other side of the table. Personally i think militias can be good, but in all reality, and i don't mean to be offensive to anyone, and this is not an attack, i believe that unless we can find a peaceful means to a solution we have done nothing.I would like to hear some other perspectives from ATS members.

O and before i forgot, Bill Maher went on to completely demonize them through a host of jokes about racism, meth, and pictures of hillbillies in the woods with guns. Pretty ignorant imo.
