No, but I had considered the fact that they are self-serving.

If there were no other corroborating evidence, then I would have dismissed it outright, but several of them have given me links and page numbers of bills (are you aware that the Patriot act has a clause that permits the President to outlaw gold ownership with the stroke of an Executive pen? ) to back up their statements.

You know me well enough to know that I don't take things anyone says (especially salesmen) at face value...
