I start this thread based on Springer's comment on using a hit squad to take out Saddam.
Sure the US could have done it. Done it quickly and effectively. And it would have been completely illegal. The point of the matter is, had the US had
done it. We would be talking about a far different situation than American Imperialism.
But to stress the fact farther. WMD. Why were there never investigations into the convoys of trucks that left Iraq for Jordan prior to the Shock and
Awe campaign that kicked off the Second Gulf War?
I maintain that US involvement was to remove Saddam due to Bush, Sr. support in the past during his tenure of CIA Director. A mistake that had to be
corrected and buried.
