Communist Party USA Tells Us They Are "Progressives."


Ahhh, the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). Gotta love these fine folks, huh? Their slogan is "Radical Ideas. Real Politics." On the home page of the CPUSA site they proudly offer a snippet of their history - the struggle as it were - where they tell us "The Communist Party has an unparalleled history in the progressive movement of the United States . . . ." Huh? American Communists admitting a connection between progressives and Communists? Who knew?...

There have been trillions of words written and spoken about how American progressives are way left leaning folks. Funny how the progressives themselves deny any correlation to Communism, and how they defame any who maintain otherwise. But the best part is the CPUSA themselves tell us they are progressives.

Progressives talk, act and legislate in a Marxist-like manner and then get all indignant when anyone says "gee, seems like a Commie to me." If one tells me I am thinking and acting like a conservative, I wear that mantle proudly, but if I say they are Marxists and Communists, they go ballistic. That means either they are unaware their ideology is Marxist and almost full blown Communist, or they are less then honest. I wonder . . . .

I will try to put this in the simplest terms I can (just for the sake of reducing the need for semantic argument).

Just because the Communists like the Democrats, doesn't mean the Democrats like the Communists.

It certainly doesn't mean the Democrats are Communists.

Drawing the conclusion that the president is somehow Communist because a fringe Communist group has expressed desire for Democratic leadership in the past is illogical.

What success is that in which you speak?

Last thing I know I do not have a state car, a state check, a share in anything state governed or communal in nature... As far as I know most of my income goes to paying privately held entities each month... So again, as I type on my APPLE computer, with a Microsoft browser, with my ATT phone buzzing, I am not sure at what period of time you reside in or what communism you are referencing to.

Communism is dead, it is a failed ideology of extremes, but this not mean I subscribe to the other extreme.

This nation was built upon a foundation of individualism secured by common fraternity, I will not stand for distortions intended to breed more extremism.

I think you may have spotted part of the new SNL curse. First Dennis Miller crapped himself on 9/11 and could not start kissing G.W.'s ass fast enough and now the once great intellecual comedian is a punchline for Bill O'Really. Now poor sweet dumb Victoria Jackson.
It would be ok if when she spoke, she said anything informed or educated instead of that high pitched dog whistle repetition of talking points. I think she make Fox look stupid when she is on and I have a hard time giving Fox IQ points to begin with.

The most interesting thing I find about Americans who critizise Obama is they think he runs the country. Thinking so is about as useful as believing that the puppet with the guy on stage with his arm up it's back is really doing the talking!!!

Worse, these idiots forget that it was their own countries citizens that voted him in. So they critisize there own fellow Americans and we have the beginning of the type of idiocy that occurs in Iraq right now.

I always thought she was a dumb Blond because of the characters she played on SNL. This completely changes my opinion of her. She actually has it together pretty well.

huh? You said she is hot, I said she is 25 years past hot. I am fairly certain most females would rather hear what you said than what I said but hey. She was cute.
