If you are a M.D., you are in the minuscule minority if you defend the current profit-based approach to medicine in this country. If you are a psychiatrist, I am sorry, as your profession, along with dentistry, has the highest rates of suicide. Lastly, If you are a thoughtful psychiatrist that is more than a glorified drug-pusher, I wish I could refer patients that could benefit from meds. to you.

P.P.S. As you probably know based on your profession, there is a growing movement to allow Ph.D. psychologists w/ adjunct training to prescribe psychotropics, so likely I soon will have prescription privileges as well.

I guess one of my points is, with all the anti-Palin/"conservatives are nazis" rhetoric out there, perhaps she should stop wearing red white and black, the prefered colors of the regime. Just sayin'.

edit: Of course she can wear whatever she likes, but if her handlers are putting her wardrobe together, maybe they should rethink the red/white/black combination.

Wow, does your professional classification even mean anything? Actually it makes me worry now that I think about it a little more. Most professional would sometimes overlook their own ills especially when they think they know better, as you being in the field you are. Healthcare industry professionals are notorious for self diagnosing and implementing a self treatment.

Wait a moment. Are you one of those 50 dates people? You said in the quote above that 'Liberalism was a mental illness' and then you have the gall when called upon it to insult someone just because you can not handle the truth. Truth be told you need to look up liberal politics so you know what you are talking about. It is the Liberals who made sure you had rights in the first place (amendments). Conservatives don't want anyone to have rights, dignity or anything else.
And for all of you who feel differently: Do you remember the parable of the Good Samaritan? He was definitely not a conservative - because he stopped to help someone that looked like a bum. Gave this person a place to stay and money and went about his way w/o asking for a darn thing back.

I agree with your comparison. Obama does seem to operate using the principles of pragmatic rationality (although being human, he does indeed have emotions, unlike if he was of vulcan descent).

Or maybe I'm off-base, is Orly Taintz claiming that Obama is an alien species?? It's hard to keep up with the crazy conspiracies these days.....
