Lost Time Poem

To those who know me, this may come as a surprise but I write poetry... I just thought I'd share this with all of you!

LOST TIME

The wind blows,
Oh! How, in my ears, it roars
Taking away with it,
All the good we had
And also the bad

The memories of the cold nights,
Ah! How, on my skin, they slide
Cooling down inside me,
All the warmth I felt
And how I would melt

The pain of letting you go,
No! How, in my heart, just no!
Stabbed me through the core,
All the days I wept
And the secret hurt I kept

The time spent wishing
Yes! How, in my mind, I kept thinking
Helping me cope with the loss,
Of a great partner in crime
And this amazing lost time
