Major Earthquake Strikes Sumatra, Indonesia

A major 7.8-magnitude earthquake strikes Sumatra, Indonesia, according to the United States Geological Survey.

A 9.2-magnitude earthquake struck off the west coast of Sumatra in Dec. 2004, which set off a tsunami across the Indian Ocean that killed nearly 250,000 people.

Here we go again.. Buckle up gonna be a fun ride folks. Really didn't someone say the amount of earthquakes so far this year was not unusual. I'd beg to differ. Hope everyone out there is ok and minimal damage. I wonder if this will make a difference as to what strength the west coast might of been in for if this quake didn't occur?
