I've sat on the beach at night and seen the lighthouse. Its nowhere near as bright at the light I saw. It didn't look like a typical bright light. It was a blueish light and it was so bright that it almost looked like the whole sky lit up.

The video 4:10 approx. "hunderds of USO's emerging from the sea" sounds like a flock of seagulls to me.

I live close to Ventura county myself. There is a lighthouse there. The Channel Islands have been used for weapon testing for years. Maybe ask someone from the Point Hueneme naval base about this. Keep your eyes peeled for more lights off the coast. Someone from Oxnard has probably seen it too.

I live in that area, it wasn't a light house. It was an extremely bright glow, and it only happened twice. It was not repeated over and over again.

The channel islands off of Santa Barbara are Navy practice bombing grounds.

You saw a bomb or a flare.

What you saw was the booster engine burn of a cruise missile being launched from a navy ship.

After dark and with a little fog you would get what you saw.

They launch from a area just beyond Anacapa island.
Its a part of the Pacific Missile Range Facility.
