Nine people were wounded along a city block in southern Washington, D.C.,
Tuesday night after shooters opened fire on a crowd, police said.

Metro Police Chief Cathy Lanier said the shooting prompted a lengthy police
chase that ended in the arrest of three people. Four officers were treated for minor injuries from an accident during the chase.

The victims who were shot near the 5000 block of South Capitol Street included
six males and three females, and some were in very serious condition, Lanier said.

A tenth person was shot on nearby Galveston Street, but it wasn't clear whether
the two shootings were related.

Is this the beginning? Or is it something else. You be the judge

I don't know about you folks but this
could be the first blood of a Revolution.
Unless somebody can prove this otherwise.
However the article did not state
WHO did the shooting nor WHY !!!

D.C. is a pretty violent place from my understanding, I wonder if this would be such big news if it wasn't just a few blocks south of the capitol building.

The more articles I read the less I think 'revolution' and the more I think 'gang violence.'

Agreed, or maybe its just some nutters that decided to go and do it for no reason at all.....

DC is a cesspool. The only difference between the politicians and ghetto trash is their fashion sense.

they are claiming it was a drive by shooting
therefore gang violence.

This is just downright sad.
The FEDS will go after a cell of Christian Militia
who hadn't killed anybody, yet more people die
everyday from gang violence.

I wonder if the only difference between militia
and gang members is that the gang members
sell the drugs that the CIA bring to this country.
It's ok to have a turf war but don't post a video

i live in annapolis MD, thats about 25 miles from DC. take my word... it happenes all the time. DC is the murder capital of the usa.

They should have been arrested.

I mean really, what is it coming to when a city that has laws, that ban guns, but still people have guns. What are those people called, oh yeah, criminals.

Interestingly enough, no, it's not. There are restrictions, but you can have a handgun in D.C.

Now, this shooting involved a modified AK-47, which is banned in...a lot of places.

Those favoring the gun bans are still laughing at the idea that criminals won't obey the gun ban law. I mean it's the LAW, so of COURSE they're going to disarm aren't they? That's the rules!!!

Those same people are also laughing at reports that there are too few police officers to enforce the laws we have already. This is simply not true, isn't it! I mean we have so many police officers in every city that they're all bored.

Frightening, thank you for posting this as I was wallowing in ignorance and had no idea.

Quite often they drive down here to Virginia and buy them then take them back to DC and do this. They don't buy them from legitamate dealers or even gun shows. They buy them from individuals who (quite often) have stolen them.

On the other hand maybe the government MAKES SURE they have guns by dealing to them through the CIA?
