Call to Arms: Join Me in DC Saturday to Stop ObamaCare

I am calling to all of you freedom-loving Americans to come once again to Washington D.C. to gather at upper Senate Park, across from the Capitol on Saturday, at 12 o’clock noon.

We must come by the thousands.

Speaker Pelosi will stop at nothing to fulfill her corrupt conquests. She will bring all of the corrupt ACORN liars to try to bully all the Democrats that may be having pangs of guilt knowing quite surely what their votes can and will do. If they’re bullied into saying “yes,” it will destroy America.

Join me and Rep. Michele Bachmann in Washington DC at 12 noon EST so we can give all the Democrats who know what the end result will be the courage to say: “No, do not pass this destructive bill.”

I’ll see you there.

Read the full announcement here

It's good to see some people taking action! I wish I could attend but I am unable too, but since this was sent to me I thought I'd pass it on in hopes that some people will attend. I know ATSers will be happy to see people in action, so at least sharing this with you all should give you some hope that there ARE people out there with their eyes open to what is truly going on!

Well i'm from the UK. I don't really understand all this uproar about American health care if i'm honest.

But protesting is your right, regardless of what the U.S government has seemed to think recently.

The uproar is due to the fact that our government, more so, Obama, is trying to drive us more in debt than we already are. If that is even possible. You can bet if it is possible then he will do it...

Hahaha, yes i was going say if it even possible to be in even more debt than the country already is?

Would even more debt make such a huge difference?

According to the Nolan Chart, I'm a Liberal Libertarian. Odd eh? I actually always used to state that I was a libertarian/conservative...quite frankly I don't know what I am anymore...probably more of a protectionist than anything.

Yay! Street clashes, that would be fun to watch!

Get your popcorn ready! Will be lots of crazy folks out that day...not that most of the peeps in DC aren't already nuts themselves!

ummm ok well none of you are taking action by standing around holding signs like cowards.

all this kind of behavior does is make you feel like your part of a solution when your still part of the problem.

Get involved and become a negotiatior or an elected official. If you dont have what it takes to do anything in life besides play armchair quarterback its no wonder nixon always made fun of the protestors outside the white house. its a sign of weakness that people walk around holding up signs to make themselves feel good rather then become an integral part of working out the details of the problem.

like all those people who walk for cancer but fail to work hard enough in life to become doctors. For the most part most of those people dont care about people who die from cancer, i even saw someone walking for cancer once who said their mom died of cancer and i asked them if their going to go to med school and they said no their going to be a teacher. shows how much they care.

my last thought is does anyone care at the tend of the day? will anyone notice? what if our founding fathers didnt bother with a revolution and if george washington just wore a tshirt and held up a sign scrawled with some gibberish on it?

Not only do we not have the money to pay for such a bill, this bill also mandates MANDATES that we purchase health care or be fined 700 dollars, or 2.5% of our annual income if that is greater than 700 dollars.

Americans DO NOT have a problem with reforming health care, but this bill specifically includes too many mandates that attack our freedoms, and our pockets.

The federal government has no say to even deal with a state issue.

The irony of one side protesting an improvement in healthcare getting into a scuffle and having to go the hospital against the other side protesting war and violence...engaging in war and violence.

I agree...this should be fun.

Improvement? Of course this bill has improvements in it, but it also has some very unnecessary restrictions on our liberties and pockets.

There is no reason in anybody's right mind that they should support a bill that makes America one step closer to being another China.

So by your logic, if someone is born into a poor family who can't afford to pay for the multiple years in college and due to their poverty does not qualify for a loan and can't become a doctor specializing in cancer, this means that they don't care about people with cancer?

And if you do become a specialist in cancer treatment, does this mean you don't care about children born with deformities since you chose cancer instead? And you don't care about battered women because you don't work in a womens' shelter, nor do you care about people starving in Africa because you don't work on getting them fed. Nor do you care about the drug epidemic in America because you are not arresting the drug lords.

Your comments, obviously made while sitting there doing nothing but posting on a conspiracy site, are deliciously ironic. You get my vote for the least thought out post of the day.

I wonder if TPTB will even take notice of it. I mean after all Obama didn't know anything about the last rally. Maybe someone should put it on all of the MSM stations in hopes he catches it.

I don't understand how people can say America doesn't have the money yet they have billions to spend on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

It's sad really.

We don't have money. The bankers in control of us do. They are the ones funding the wars. I mean we were bankrupt years ago technically? The double edge sword is those that are keeping us controlled are also the ones footing the bill right now. OFC it is their fault we are in this mess...just saying.

I betcha there will be, tear gas, batons, shields, and loud noise blasts from speakers, water cannons, tasers, guard dogs, maybe snipers, helicopters, (military would probably join in if it gets too out of hand.)

Stores will be maybe broken into, car windows smashed, flaming cocktails, burning flags. That's the typical riot for ya.

Ummm...Okay. Speaker Pelosi has a corrupt conquest in mind? And she has called in ACORN to bully democrats? It sounds a little comic bookish, but I'll bite...Please provide links or videos where the evil ACORN is running around DC threatening representitives.

Um...Michele Bachmann??...Hmmm, isn't she the one who wanted hearings where everyone in congress would be investigated to determine if they were "pro-american" enough?

She thinks evolution is baloney and shouldn't be taught in schools, and claims that "for the gay community ...our children are thier prize!"

She also said about opposing reform:

"What we have to do today is make a covenant, to slit our wrists, be blood brothers on this thing. This will not pass. We will do whatever it takes to make sure this doesn't pass."

Though I would love to join you to see the great loony, suicidal, gay-hating, believer that the world is 5000 years old, demander of mcarthy like hearings, tea-party poser Michelle Bachmann...but I think that might conflict with a Simpsons re-run I have been wanting to see.

Wow, I vote this the most ignorant post of the month!

You, by far, have crossed a lot of lines that should not have been crossed. Do you even read what you're typing? If so, how do you live with yourself?

On credit you can buy anything. And that's where the problem starts, and that's why WE have a debt of over 10 trillion dollars, not the people responsible.

Oh, and don't forget Michele Bachmann! She is loads of fun and sounds like since she is hosting the event she will be there. The nuttiest of the nutty. Yay. Can't wait for her speech. ;-)

If it were truly "ObamaCare" there would be the public option in there and some competition for the filthy, lying, greedy, parasitic and corrupt health industry,...but I guess we have to start somewhere.
