With current technology our chances of deflecting a massive Near Earth Object is negligible...

I'll be honest and admit I enjoyed playing God with massive asteroids...on the other hand...it's still a possibility that this can happen...

Just today we had 1106 potentially hazardous asteroids...very neat...kinda.
