Education gone stupid

Failure also helps to create maturity. Kids who can't fail can't be held responsible for their actions. If they don't study or do homework, then teachers can't fail them. Bad for the self-esteem. Teachers have to work hard to think up ways for kids who don't care to make enough points to pass them. If kids just got 0s and half the class failed, the teacher would get called on the carpet and the parents would yell at the school board. It's quite ridiculous.

This is absolutely sickening. Where I live, there are even schools that don't give out report cards. I'm still in school, and thank the Lord that I haven't been coddled that much. It's just like diseases and immunity, if you stay too sterilized, when you get sick, there is hell to pay.
