Future of Broadband: Where Data Is Broadcast Using Desk Lamps

www.sciencedaily.com

ScienceDaily (Mar. 10, 2010) — In the future, getting a broadband connection might be as simple as flipping on a light switch. In fact, according to a group of researchers from Germany, the light coming from the lamps in your home could one day encode a wireless broadband signal.

Its amazing what they come up with these days. I hope this comes out soon because I would love to have this. according to the article it should be much faster than what we have now here is what they said

They have now upgraded the system's receivers and are getting 230 Mbit/s, which is a record for visible wireless using commercial LEDs. Although state-of-the-art radio wireless can achieve comparable speeds, Vučić says they should be able to double their data rate again by employing a more sophisticated modulation signal.

Anyhow I hope this comes out soon

Any future broadband will be part of the Internet 2 which is a NWO owned and operated censored internet. One that we shouldnt be looking forward to.

Considering light is a type of energy carrying medium...

I wouldnt doubt it.

It's like holograms.

its a pity someone couldn't think of a way to link wifi signals into an independent free alternative internet..
just all computers and laptops link together like citizen band -broadband...

feel free to punch and kick this idea....

Thie is only begining of energy being transferred through the air, once thought impossible similarly liked the home computers, but likely soon a reality.

Having brought theoratical science to reality, we must built upon its foundations to develope further:-

Cars: Battery operated cars are a reality today. It's energy source comes from the battery. Tomorrow, it will come from the airwaves and needs no battery, saving space for more passengers or cars.

Aircraft: Using such technology, it will power the electronics onboard, and save space. But it will also be able to power improved compressed natural gases as thrust, eliminating fossilized fuel and its weight.

Spaceships: Once Dr Ning-Li succeeds on her works on antigravity, ships can be in any aerodynamic form. Energy to run the anti gravity systems and compressed air/exotic propulsion systems.

All these will be possible within our lifetime. Only issue is - is mankind ready to accept such knowledge and use it responsibly, and ethically, for all so that none be left behind, as resources are still in abundance and needs no WHO culling to reserve such resources for the elite few.
