I had to question the use of these Graphics on todays "This Morning" segment, with a interview of James Bulger's mother. I don't need to point out the obvious "666" reference around the mugshots. Subliminal messaging at its best by ITV.

Are they Satanists - or are they boys who have experienced violence in their homes?

The murder and torture of that little boy was evil - how are boys so young into that, unless it is from their parents?

Have you ever thought that ITV (or anyone else really) believes this not because it is true but because they want to look good in letting the world know they hate these people for what they have done.

Hell people who have done horrible things in the past ALWAYS have horrible stuff made up about them to force people to hate them even more.

This always happens and it always will happen I’m afraid.

So do I believe they are Satanists? No I do not because I see no proof of it.

Should they both pay for what they have done?? Hell yes

Just my opinion of course

I don't actually see a '666' anywhere, am I blind?

Saying this, we all know why these boys did what they did - and they didn't learn it from TV. It all stems from the abusive parents, god knows what they were subjected to... was this raised in the interview with the mother?

The UK media revealed today that at least one of the boys had recently watched the movie 'Halloween' (described as a '70s slasher-film) shortly before murdering James Bulger

A drawing produced by Venables portrays a violent female figure slashing two prone figures spouting blood. A note written by Venables indicates the movie made an impact upon him:

www.dailymail.co.uk...

We cannot claim to understand what motivated two ten year olds to kidnap and murder a toddler. It may have been a combination of factors: abuse, disfunctional families, jealousy of little James Bulger who was so innocent, trusting and clearly well cared for and loved

Dozens of psychiatrists and mental health professionals have attempted to analyse, understand and rehabilitate. The government did its best to turn things around for the two child-killers. What else could they do -- hang them ? Jail them for life ... at age ten ?

Children are violent in the same way as adults, but usually lack the means and strength to carry out their murderous fantasies. But all over the world are people who, were they to be honest, would admit to wanting (when children themselves) to kill a sibling or other child at one point or another

There is currently a primitive baying for blood to avenge the murder of James Bulger -- a sense that justice wasn't seen to be done, at the time -- the wish still for an eye for an eye

Now Venables is in trouble again and people are pointing fingers and crying, 'See ! He's bad, always was. You should never have released him '

Maybe Venables (it's been claimed he never showed remorse) is only now realizing the monstrousness of the crime he committed as a ten year old. Maybe he wants to be punished now and this led him to reveal his identity to strangers recently and to commit other crimes (which he knew would be detected) in order he would be arrested and made to serve jail time now, as an adult ?

We don't know. Maybe even he doesn't know

Nothing can erase the tragedy of James Bulger's pointless murder or the tragedy that is Jon Venables. Life is filled with tragedy and waste. There are no real lessons to be learned in this sorry case. Nothing that's happened or been attempted can or will prevent similar tragedies from occurring in the future

Satanism ? I don't think it played a role. Maybe evil influences steered events, but I don't think two ten year old boys were active satanists

I'm tempted to consider generational-curse possibly linking the killers and their families with the victim and his family, but it's speculation only

Not satanists, just really messed up young boys.
Seem that sadly Venables has not come to terms with the Bulger murder, now having given him a fair chance to re-habilitate, the state is left with no option but to return him to jail, probably for the rest of his life.
All I can say is, what a terrible tragic waste for all concerned.

What the hell is 6699 and how does it fit into a Christian-Satanism paradigm?

OP, I notice you're local to me. You weren't responsible for instigating the Rochdale Satanic child abuse scare in the early 1990s were you? A lot of allegedly well-meaning people were seeing 'Satanic symbolism' there too.

There doesn't need to be an extra angle to this story as there's loads to it already. The (vile) crime itself, 'broken Britain', the failings, bias and agenda of the justice system, the government's flip-flopping as recent revelations about Venables.

Loads to go at, even for the most creatively redundant journalist or desperate to be different editor. Why the need for a new angle?

I would say that this story though sad for the obvious reasons is just as much a story of the British Justice system failing.

I think it was clear that the murder of James Bulger was a pretty bloody big sign that these two are not wired right in their heads.

So tell me then why the Justice system allowed them to be free again and to allegedly take part in child abuse (one of the newspapers this morning claimed that out of a scale of 1-5 --- 5 being the worst kind of offence - Jon Venables Child porn rated a 4)

Now we have Jack Straw chief of the Justice Department stating he would not reveal the nature of the recall to prison...

Again in my opinion this is a failure.

My Opinion Jon Venables is not a satanic figure though surely his acts are evil. What he is however is a total waste of space and tax payers’ money.

Jon Venables is a perfect example of why I believe we should in some cases re-instate capital punishment. This person is guilty beyond any reasonable doubt and is costing the tax payer hundreds of thousands of pounds.

He cannot add anything to our society and I would not wish him on anyone else’s society either.

All the best,

Korg.
