Best way to survive a N or H bomb exchange.

Move to New Zealand.

Apparently some people think we are on the other side of Australia, so you know a missile would get lost on its way here.

.... Alternatively, there is a last resort outrageous way to protect against radioactive iodine - the average 1 kilogramme packet of iodised salt contains precisely the amount of iodine that the body needs each day. Hence if you can't get hold of blocker, before a nuclear war, stack up on vast amounts of water and salt as you will need to consumer an ENTIRE PACKET OF SALT EVERY DAY.

That is a very efficient way of killing yourself.

Lethal dose is somewhere between 60 and 200 g of table salt, for an average person

Medical report on a case of salt poisoning

Bright side - you won't die from radiation sickness

I don't question your post, but where did you get your list of things that the UK government would do in the case of a Nuclear Assault? Any references that you could link to please?

I knew a councillor on Fife COuncil back in the 190's when the plans and legislation was drafted and passed and the councils advised. Also, "Treads" is a great film for info.
