New Photo of Recently Pictured Near Earth Asteroid

NASA just released a photo from the WISE telescope, Wide-fielded Survey Explorer, of a near Earth asteroid, that was discovered last January. It is approximately 98 million miles from earth and is about a half mile wide. Now, maybe they will train the telescope on that x-shaped object that we don’t hear anything about anymore.

At what is it travelling?

Could it hit us?

Will it's size degrade to nearly nothing by the time it gets close to us?

and best of all.....Can we blow it up?

If something was really going to kill us I doubt NASA would tell us. But the shocking thing is that if we just discovered this, and it's quite some distance from us, imagine what might be lurking a little closer to home.
