In 2006 the The Office of Naval Research anounced the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) program to develop a replacement for the old Hummer... the first of those approved is the BAE systems-Navistar Valanx.

Just to let everyone know, the title of this is kind of misleading. The full contract is not going to BAE, there are still other contractors waiting to submit their models to the Armed Forces.
