I've looked but the simple question is toughest to find.

Why ARE the astronauts such strangers to the media? I mean you've had Buzz and all the big names looking to put on a hero's face, but it's just not genuine to me. I mean my dad, after all, was simply a hard working janitor who raised his family to the best of his ability, with only symbols of modesty to show for it.

His would be a far more interesting story to common listeners to what I've heard from the big name moon astronauts.

It just seems they hide from shame or fear of having to answer the questions they are tired lying about. Particularly, the supposed moon landings, which to be honest, after all the popular mechanics articles and whatever, stinks of conspiracy. I'm sorry I can't prove this on my own.

It just seems astronauts have reported land deterioration, aliens, have committed suicide, stalked fellow astronauts, punched a reporter... any time one of these astronauts pass, my gut instinct is that people, average everyday people just don't get the real scoop in regards to what exactly the space mission has achieved.

Though question.
Who could answer this.
NASA?
Or the private people that run this country that thought the
missile gap could be run into a Lunar gap.
I think so.
Von Braun went to Disney to promote his plan.
He might be the one to be aware of this mystery.
Did he find out there was too much radiation in space.
I just hear of some suppressed radiation findings.
Makes you wonder.
I'll check out the report of the suppressed findings.
So what was Von Braun to do.
He could not risk radiation damage to the crew.
Disney to the rescue?

If Von Braun followed in the footsteps of ether scientists
like Tesla and perhaps Willie Ley, he knew ether filled all
space and could propel a ship through the universe.
Would he go to the Moon in rockets if he could.
Sure.
We will one day find proof of the Moon Landings or the
ether ships, I think the ether ships will be arriving before
any rockets to the Moon are found.

ED: Radiation detectors were developed and will not be
placed on satellites which would thus expose the levels.
And any outer space probes perhaps or would new detectors
be made. If the ability is diminished then they will pass.
The only way to fudge the data would be to fudge up the
device hookup.

They had their time in the spotlight, and now they want peace. I can respect that. I believe it is pretty presumptious to assume they are purposely hiding due to shame or fear. We do not know these individuals personally. We shouldn't be assigning motive behind their actions with zero evidence.

News stories abound of astronaughts harrassed in public. Why do they keep a low public profile? Because people do harrass them. Haven't you ever wanted to be left alone? I believe we should respect their wishes and leave it at that. Assuming more is going on is a bit disrespectful for the service these men (and women) have performed for their country.

I don't wish to do that.

So they dont slip up about the "stuff" they've seen up there?

Maybe

Thanks for the feedback/comments.

I know what you mean - they are people, but they have given up what I consider to less than a satisfied feeling. Then again, there really are no heros and if there ever is one, that person is crazy enough to commit suicide or gets picked off.

Edgar Mitchell should start his own radio show. And he should talk about his weird tales every day. And I wonder if he was a host, could he even get buzz aldrin on as a guest?

And honestly, I'm sick of a lot of the UFO/paranormal writers who are just trying to make a buck. I just don't think we've been given enuogh to go to sleep satisfied.

The beat goes on.

Why claim that? They have done thousands of interviews, answered innumerable questions, no new questions would be asked, the answers would be the same, Apollo was 40 years ago so why shouldnt they stop answering them?

It just seems they hide from shame or fear of having to answer the questions they are tired lying about.

So just what have they lied about?

Particularly, the supposed moon landings, which to be honest, after all the popular mechanics articles and whatever, stinks of conspiracy.

What exactly makes you think it is a conspiracy?

I'm sorry I can't prove this on my own.

Because there is nothing to prove, there is no conspiracy!

Just what is your point? Youare making little sense

They are aware that the first three astronautics died at the hands
of inadequate engineering.
Most likely some type of human or environmental engineering
miss calculation.

The conspiracy theorists do not forget and death is always a good
terror method to convince the right people for the job.

ED: Death the conveniencer, did it work on Nixon after JFK.
