Where are those 67% because for what I can see none of them including us here in ATS that are also dissatisfied with Obama have not done a darn thing to show our displeasure marching into Washington in protest to anything Obama has done so far.

We are just bending a littler more for him and his policies everyday.

yea the Rasmussen reports, the polls that gun for conservatives so conservatives can get the numbers they want. Hardly known for accuracy.

I'll step in here and play devil's advocate...

It is actually an improvement for the Obama administration... and here is the overwhelming proof from your source...

The majority of voters (67%) continue to believe the nation is heading down the wrong track, the highest level found in 2009. However, in the weeks just prior to Barack Obama's election, more than 80% of voters felt that way.

This time last year, 17% said the country was heading in the right direction, while 77% said it was heading down the wrong track. Following Obama’s inauguration in January, voter confidence in the direction of the country steadily increased, peaking at 40% in early May. Since then voter confidence has declined.

80% before Obama.

77% in 2008.

And now 67%

Things are improving.... slowly!

And it looks like we have successfully implanted fear in the minds of Americans with the Al Qaeda underwear bombers....

Seventy-nine percent (79%) of voters nationwide believe another terrorist attack is likely within the next year. Another 46% say current airport security procedures are not strict enough.

Confidence in America’s conduct in the War on Terror has fallen following the Christmas Day terrorist attempt on a U.S. airliner. For the first time since October 2007, the number that believes the terrorists are winning has reached 30%. Just 36% believe the U.S. and its allies are winning. Confidence in U.S. efforts in Afghanistan also has dropped.

This is a perfect opportunity to expand the war on terror, and we will, as soon as we are finished ramming health care and energy reforms through.

That number is way too low.....oh wait I forgot about the 30% ultra-lefties that think Obama is their savior, and can do no wrong. Sounds right then!

It's always funny......no matter who takes the poll, whomever comes out on the losing side says the source is corrupt, they lie, it's propoganda. Maybe, just maybe, 67% of the people realize what a pos this sob is and they were duped. Or, maybe it's a GOP conspiracy to make3 the messiah look bad. Will there ever be a poll taken by any group that we can all agree on, I doubt it.

Obama has us on the wrong track. Everybody knows it.
Look at the economy. 15 Million people are unemployed and even more
are underemployed. He is refusing to call the terrorists.....
what they clearly are.... Terrorists! He put all his energy into
Cap & Trade and ObamaCare in 2009. What a waste.
The liberals are pleading with Team Obama to make Cap & Trade
go away so they have a tiny hope of getting re-elected Nov 2010.
If ObamaCare ever gets passed by congress, it will raise taxes
immediately and won't go into effect for years. Small business
is terrified to hire and grow. Obama is clearly a 1 term president.

In 11 months will have real change we can believe in.

And yet they'll still be ID10Ts like the fool who U2U'd me yesterday telling me I shouldn't question Obama and his minions in Congress so much, because he won the election.

Back in the real world, Obama is reasonably popular, people are optimistic about 2010, right track/ wrong track is much higher than a year ago, and a majority know who to blame for the collapse, and will give credit to the Dems. as the recovery gains traction (don't forget that 3/4 of the stimulus money is yet to be spent until this year).

I know Im not a yank or anything but didn't George Bush wreck your country?

And then hand it over to Obama with something like 25% of its wealth after disappearing almost overnight, wars on several fronts, a looming depression, explosive unemployment and a massive amount of dislike from almost the entire rest of the planet?

I would've thought it was on the wrong track then

Obviously enough though, Hope and Change are better as motto's than technical solutions to a crashing empire.

Obama has just made everything worse since he walked into the White
House. He keeps blaming Bush but it's just not working.
The American people want to hear solutions NOT excuses.
Obama doesn't have any solutions.
This latest terrorist attack is his worst nightmare.
Just watch what happens when the KSM trial begins in New York City.
The liberals in NYC will begin to attack Obama.
Obamas judgement in flawed. It's already time for a regime change
in Washington D.C. - Nov 2010 - Nov 2012 -
The clock is ticking.........landslide GOP victories on the way.

And yet you can't see that for what it is? You truly are a partisan hack! With millions of people unemployed, millions more losing their houses, jobs, savings etc... and companies declaring bankruptcy at record breaking rates the Democrats have seen fit to hold back 3/4 of the hundreds of billions of tax-payer dollars that were RAMMED through Congress with nary time to read or debate the Bill in order to buy mid-term election victories while making it appear that the economy is improving even though it isn't. Very clever tactic, sadly many, if not most, of us see right through it. And having useful idiots around pointing that fact out is also helpful - so thank you!

Clearly, he is an Obama Cool Aid drinker.
In his mind all is well.
A cloud is heading towards the White House.
It will arrive November 2010.
I predict the Wrong Track number will hit 72% by March 2010.

Whatever you say Mr. Noble laureate economist that you surely are. Or, maybe there has to be a fire on which to pour some fuel, and that is what is going to happen. The economy has been backed-up from the abyss, and some green shoots of recovery are starting to sprout.

Why don't you check out the trajectory of Reagan's popularity, as well as the time-line for the economic recovery under his administration. BTW, Ronnie's approval was lower than Obama's is now 11.5 mos. into his administration. Teabaggers are going to be howling at the moon after the elections of 2010/2012.

Best,
SN

Yes 3/4 of the stimulus money is unspent.Doesnt this strike you as odd especially since they said if we dont rush this through congress the economy would crash.

Doesnt that strike you as a little odd that there sitting on the money that was supposed to end the recession? Well theres a reason the dems will pump this money into the economy 4 to 6 months before the congresional elections. This will cause a false jump in economic numbers allowing them to go see we told you we could get out of the recession.

Now the problem after this money is done proping up the economy and after the elections of course the economy will flat line again.Need proof look what happened to car sales now that the government stoped cash for clunkers.Again were bailing out auto makers because they are hemoraging money.

All i have to say is people wake up look around more and more are unemployed every day. And now the other nasty thing will hit in 2010 its called inflation you cant have a government that half of every dollar it spends is borrowed and not have inflation come into play.At a time when congress needs to be spending less and worrying about creating jobs there busy spending money.

Funny part that free health care will come in handy when were all unemployed and homeless at least we will be abled to go to the doctors office to get warm!

Cripes.

How could anyone say we are on the right track? Escalating wars and deficit spending....explosive unemployment and high energy prices. 50 percent of all children are fed through food stamps at one time or another during their life right now. 40 million people are living in poverty in the USA. That's 40 million people who wonder each day how they are going to put food on the table.

Our foreign and trade policies are so horrible that this country won't stand much longer if it's not changed.

Tariffs protect our wages!! Wake up people!! It's not about increasing minimum wage or not...it's about protecting the wages we have and how we can make them better. We are committing economic suicide.

If any of you think it has anything to do with Obama please educate yourself. It would be the same if the other side won I hate to burst your bubble but the facts are pretty clear.

THE LEFT VS. RIGHT CRAP NEEDS TO END.

They are playing on the same team and to win over us the best trick is fear and division and you guys eat it up. They are using you how does it feel to be so stupid as not to even no when someone is f*cking you in the rear end. That is how good they are, be better than them and don't play the game.
