Apparently the Saudi's are not "harboring terrorists." But if Eman is telling the truth that means the Iranian's are holding members of Al-Qaeda.

Granted merely because the United States government says you are a member of Al-Qaeda does not make you a member.

However the U.S. Government considers Saad and Hazma bin Laden terrorists.

Whether they really are terrorists or not is a matter of conjecture.

Eman (the 17 year old daughter of Osama) is not considered a terrorist. Recently she has sought asylum in the Saudi embassy after escaping from her Iranian captors.

She now claims that 5 of her brothers (sons of Osama) are still being held by the Iranians.

Two of those 5 sons are considered terrorists by the U.S. government.

If OBL is even still alive (I don't believe he is) then why are we wasting time on this? For 7 years we simply "weren't that worried about him." Now we're worried about his children.

The United States is not interested in his children...yet. The Iranians are, or they would not have held them in house arrest for 8 years.

The actual question then, is why are the Iranians so interested in his family?

Don't know what to make of this story. I'm sure Iran is getting something out of all of this. Otherwise, why would they waste manpower looking over the family members.

Like other al Qaeda leaders in Iran, the younger bin Laden, who is believed to be 24 years old, is protected by an elite, radical Iranian security force loyal to the nation's clerics and beyond the control of the central government, according to U.S. and European intelligence officials. The secretive unit, known as the Jerusalem Force, has restricted the al Qaeda group's movements to its bases, mostly along the border with Afghanistan.
